RADIOLOGY

Radiology is an examination that uses electromagnetic waves called X-rays whose function is to go through any anatomic structure and produce images of the inside of the body.

The x-rays are absorbed by the body part that needs to be studied and generate an image on the chassis.

All of the radiology equipment at IDACA is digital, which results in lower radiation doses, overall a more efficient and flexible process.

Patient Information

WHAT WILL THE PATIENT FEEL DURING AN X-RAY TEST?

During an x-ray test, the patient will be standing or lied down depending on the part of the body needing the radiation. Our staff will tell you to hold breathing for a few seconds while the image is being captured.
